Welcome to be part of the very FIRST Classical Spanish Dance Residency in Singapore, conducted by the lovely Paloma Gómez (Madrid). Paloma will be based in Singapore for 3 weeks to conduct classes for this comprehensive dance programme.
The programme, with its special focus, will offer students a broader and deeper immersion into Classical Spanish Dance. It will include learning a performance repertoire, castanet technique, acquiring and understanding Classical Spanish Dance techniques which greatly complement other Spanish Dances such as Flamenco. If you would like to gain a more holistic dance foundation, then do consider this dance programme. (Take advantage of Early Bird by this Sun 10 Sep and the package discounts!)
I am also pleased to offer additional Spanish dance genres such as the Pasodoble, where students can learn to dance it with Bata de Cola. As a finale to this enriching programme, we are offering a FREE masterclass series of balletic Escuela Bolera (Bolera School of Spanish Dance) and those with some ballet background can try it out. Stay tuned for the schedule.
As the programme is rich in content with diverse offerings, those who would like to know what course can best fit their learning and level are welcomed to contact me for a chat. We're also looking at a sharing-showcase in end-November, so participants can take part in celebrating this art form altogether.
With warm regards,

Have you been longing to rejuvenate yourself once in a while, be refreshed and inspired? So too, Manuel and I, after our fruitful Flamenco tour to several cities, were drawn to green oases, cool running waters, sunshine and the sea. It was tempting to stay on for divine vacation para siempre, but we also wanted to see you in Singapore, the final city of our tour! Join us THIS WEEK (2 - 6 Aug) to recharge your dance with Manuel's invigorating energy and inspiring teaching. Click here for the FULL workshop schedule. Read on and enjoy!
Eat, Pray, Love (Dance) - In the fun holiday video (above), catch a sampler of the Tangos, Technique & Bamberas that you'll get to learn in Manuel's workshops in Singapore.
And (below) here's a 'meatier' video of the Bamberas choreography taught in the Academy in Seville. For Singapore, besides the Bamberas choreography, Manuel will extract the technique from the choreography and work them in the technique classes. Those doing the choreography will find the tech classes HIGHLY beneficial in facilitating your dance in the choreography classes.
